Little Gymnasts

Flipping, jumping, somersaulting, balancing, sliding... that's how I spend my Tuesday afternoons and Thursday evenings.  Well, watching my kiddos do these things... not me... I would hurt myself!

Abigail has found her true love in gymnastics.  In the fall, she enjoyed her Mommy and Me class and she has now graduated to the big kid class with 4 other 3 year olds and her teacher, Ms. Stephanie.  Mommy has to sit upstairs in the viewing gallery.  My baby is getting so big.  Sniff, sniff...  Abi is thriving in the class and breaking out of her shell.  She has a natural athletic ability and has a great time learning new gymnastics techniques.

Big brother, Joey attended a birthday party at the gymnastics school in the fall and he also joined in at one of Abi's classes one Tuesday morning (he was off school for Election Day and tagged along).  He showed an interest in gymnastics and since it never hurts to improve his motor skills and strength, we signed him up for lessons for the winter.  A few weeks ago, he started Thursday evening classes with Coach Orry.  He's with 5 other 5 year old boys, one of which is a friend from his class at school.  He's having a great time and quickly picking up on the skills.

Here are a few highlights from this week's classes...
