Time to catch up on blogs! LOL
My little Joey turned 5 in June... how did this happen?! He's such a lovely boy... so sweet, loving and creative. He'll be starting Kindergarten in a little over a week. It's hard to think that I can't keep him small forever. Joey's 4th year was great... he made new friends in preschool, learned to play soccer, grew 3 inches and can do so many things himself... some of which terrorize me, but most of which are helpful! His 5th year has so many adventures ahead.
We had a birthday party with a few close friends to celebrate Joey's big day. We took our friends to see Toy Story 3 in 3D followed by pizza and cupcakes back at our house. My favorite memory of the afternoon was Joey and his friend, Ben asking each other questions throughout the movie. So fun when kids have conversations. I love the little things they say to each other!
Thank you to our friends that made Joey's party a special day and to our family for all of their phone calls and Skype conversations on the big day!

Update: The first day was a success! Joey got in the car this afternoon and told me that school was "GREAT!" I hope that feeling lasts for him all year.
