BTW, he did not have this toy in front of him when he said this. Well, I'll be!
Random Joey quote: "Mommy, you're not old, you're new."
Joey can sing every song from "The Imagination Movers," "Aladdin ," and most country songs from the radio. Although he does have my talent for singing the WRONG words to songs so they make no sense! That's my baby.
As I'm typing this, Joey just told me a joke... he tells me he thought of it himself:
"Why did the chicken cross the road? Because his car broke down!" Heehee!
Joey is smart and funny, but he's also very sensitive. Some friends of ours are moving from Louisiana to Indiana this week and we had one last playdate with them last week. (Sniff.) Joey says to his little friend, Kate, "Kate, we're going to be friends forever." Aw, that was so sweet.
Joey's new endeavor is soccer. He started playing on an "under 5" team this winter and he's really excited about it (mostly because of the uniforms and snacks). He may have hidden talent, but we haven't had much of a chance to see it because he spends most of the games pretending to be Buzz Lightyear (the space ranger from "Toy Story"), doing somersaults into the goal and standing on the dirt pile next to the field. He's not the only one on his team that lives in "La La Land" as they are all 4 and 5 year olds... games are always entertaining. Bonus: he did kick the ball a few times during this past weekend's games. Woo hoo!
Joey is a one-of-a-kind kid who always keeps us entertained and amazed. Love you, Lovebug!
